The Cooper River Bridge, also known as the Arthur Ravenel Jr Bridge, also known as the Ravenel Bridge, is the most prominent bridge in Charleston.
I can officially say that I have conned the ship under it:
Driven over it:
And now walked across it!
At just about 2.7 miles long one way, it was hard to resist going for a stroll across the bridge on a sunny afternoon!
And considering that the crossing does not cost a cent, it’s the cheapest way to enjoy the views of the river and Charleston’s church spires. And of course the bridge itself is a thing of beauty.
A perfect Saturday afternoon before being called back to the ship.
